Safety skills are life skills.
IMPACT offers age-appropriate programs for Elementary, Middle, and High School, including classes specifically for boys, as well as girls' and co-ed classes. School-based personal safety programs range from 2 to 20 hours, and can be taught during or after the school day.
IMPACT is taught as a health elective course at four Massachusetts public high schools: Andover, Lincoln-Sudbury, Medfield, and Wellesley. Some of our other partners in school and youth programs are listed here.
Peer IMPACT is a new initiative designed to give teens the skills to create a school culture that supports healthy and positive relationships as well as challenging abuse and harassment. Students gain the skills to initiate difficult conversations, increase their awareness about sexual assault, and have the opportunity to identify positive expectations for themselves and others.
